Matanuska Telephone Association (MTA) was founded in 1953 as a local telephone service cooperative and delivers local telephone service, long-distance, wireless, business communication systems, digital television, high-speed Internet, and directory services to an area that covers over 10,000 square miles in Southcentral Alaska. MTA's commitment to deliver the most advanced communication products and services, superior customer service along with their involvement in the communities that they serve has helped MTA achieve the status as the second largest member-owned telephone cooperative in the United States. |
