Matanuska Telephone Association (MTA) was founded in 1953 as a local telephone service cooperative and delivers local telephone service, long-distance, wireless, business communication systems, digital television, high-speed Internet, and directory services to an area that covers over 10,000 square miles in Southcentral Alaska.
