AHCIET (Asociación Hispanoamericana de Centros de Investigación y Empresas de Telecomunicaciones)

The Asociación Hispanoamericana de Centros de Investigación y Empresas de Telecomunicaciones (AHCIET) is a private non-profit institution, created in 1982, formed by more than 50 telecommunication operating companies in 20 countries throughout Latin America and Spain. Its main goal is to foster the development of the Hispanic American Community of Nations in the Telecommunications area, combining efforts in the study and research of techniques in this major technical field, as well as in the exchange of data and personnel development. To achieve this goal, the Association carries out, among other activities, the organization of forums, seminars, roundtables, and studies and projects of common interest.
